Job Title:

Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School is currently seeking a part time librarian to manage and promote the literacy and the use of the library to students in grades JK through 8th grade.   

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in library studies, English or related field
  • Teacher certification or ability and willingness to seek alternative license

 

Qualifications:
Candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • Passion for, and understanding, of the literature and the role of a library.
  • Ability to support elementary and middle school students in their spiritual and intellectual formation.
  • Ability to publicly support and live out the values of the Gospel as taught by the Catholic Church.
  • Ability to incorporate the Catholic Worldview into the library at the elementary and middle school level.
  • Ability to manage and promote the school library and the use of the library/media to promote learning 
  • Ability to use educational technology in the classroom.
