The Good Shepherd knows His sheep, and He calls us not as a crowd, but individually, personally, with a voice we are made to recognize. In a world full of noise \u2014 voices that promise much and deliver little \u2014 Christ calls us to listen more deeply, to attune our hearts to the one Voice that has never misled us and never will.<br \/><\/em><br \/><em>The promise of this passage is not merely safety, but bounty: &#8220;I came that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.&#8221; This is not a life emptied of struggle, but one overflowing with meaning, with belonging, with the unshakeable knowledge that we are held. Walk through that gate \u2014 trusting that the One who opens it for us is the same One who laid down everything out of love for us.
