Pray that He strengthens your faith so that you may walk straight in the path set before you, neither veering to the left nor the right. If we devote ourselves to doing what He wants us to do by walking His path and doing His will, He will bless us with everlasting life.<br \/><br \/>When Jesus proclaimed the kingdom of God, he met opposition and hostility from those who refused to believe in Him. He tells His disciples that they must expect the same treatment if they are to live and to proclaim the reign of God. There is both a warning and a privilege in His statement. Just as Jesus had to carry His cross, so the disciples must carry their cross. To suffer for our faith is to share in the work of Christ. The Holy Spirit gives us power and grace to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. Trust in God&#8217;s grace to carry your cross for Jesus&#8217; sake.\u00a0<br \/><br \/><em>Happy Father&#8217;s Day! Fatherhood does not come with a manual, and reality quickly teaches us that Fatherhood is challenging. Fathers make many sacrifices for their children and families -both big and small. Make this Father&#8217;s Day an opportunity to show love and gratitude for your father.
