There is no greater proof of God&#8217;s love for us than His Son&#8217;s death and resurrection that offered us new life through the gift and power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus should claim a special place in our lives, more important than our parents, spouse, or children. If we are disciples of Jesus, then He must be central to our lives; <em>we need to follow His lead and take up our cross<\/em>.<br \/><br \/>True followers of Christ are compelled to express mercy and grace towards those around us. As His disciples, we are called to be kind and generous; Jesus never refused to help anyone in need who asked. We are also assured that He notices even the smallest gesture of kindness we give to those in need.
