At first, Jesus seemed to ignore the woman, which embarrassed His disciples. Jesus was testing her, awakening a faith that only grew bolder. She persisted, and her request became worship: she knelt before the living God. She was an outsider, yet Jesus praised her because her faith and love were real. Her child&#8217;s suffering had become her own, and she would not stop asking.<br \/><\/em><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><em>No one who seeks Jesus with earnest faith is ever turned away. His love knows no boundaries of nation, status, or past. He gives freely and completely of Himself, meeting each of us exactly where we are \u2014 humble, hopeful, and honest before Him. When we bring Him our sin, our fear, our unhealed places, He does not turn away.\u00a0Jesus is always ready to give us help, strength, and refuge.
