The Fr. Carl Hammer Council is located at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Albuquerque on Guaymas Place NE. Call the parish office for specific contact information and about how to join.
About our Council<\/strong>
Fr. Carl Hammer Council 10697 was founded on August 1991 primarily through the efforts of Knights of Columbus individuals of other councils and the efforts of parish men from Our Lady of the Assumption.
Council Meetings<\/strong>
Council 10697 meets the second Wednesday of every month at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church\u2019s gymnasium at 7:00 PM

Who are the Knights?<\/strong>
The Knights of Columbus is the world\u2019s largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with more than 1.6 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.

The Knights work with Youth and support multiple charitable function through the Out Reach program and other activities.
How to Join:<\/strong>
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, and who are at least 18-years-old. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Church. Application blanks are available from any member of the Knights of Columbus. Fourth Degree:<\/strong>
Any Third Degree member in good standing, one year after the anniversary of his First Degree, is eligible for membership in the Fourth Degree. The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship and a love of and loyalty to the Knights\u2019 respective countries through active membership in local Fourth Degree \u201cassemblies.\u201dCertain members of the Fourth Degree serve as honor guards at civic and religious functions, an activity that has wrought worldwide recognition to the Knights of Columbus.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
