Dear Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Family,

 

Jesus came to conquer hearts and souls, establishing an unshakeable kingdom ruled by God’s peace and joy. Out of His infinite love, God sent His only begotten Son into the world not to condemn it but to save it through Jesus’ atoning sacrifice on the cross. Through His perfect submission to His Father’s will, Jesus fulfilled this divine plan, laying down His life and exchanging a cross of shame for a throne of glory.

 

Jesus’ sacrificial death brings freedom to us all.  Through His grace, God’s love purifies our hearts and transforms our minds so that we can learn to think and act with love for one another, just as Jesus demonstrated throughout His life. Those who believe in Jesus Christ and follow His way of the cross will receive their just reward – life and peace with God in His kingdom. Entrust your life to Jesus. Allow His Holy Spirit to purify your heart and mind. Jesus will give you the grace, strength, and freedom to walk and live each day in the power of His merciful love and goodness.
