Dear OLA Parish Family, 

 

The disciples brought their struggles to Jesus because they knew He could solve problems or heal sickness. When Simon brought Jesus to his sick mother-in-law, she was instantly cured. Jesus stands ready to help us, yet we often fail to recognize Him. Although Jesus is present with us, extending His grace and help to us, we remain asleep – failing to realize He is here. Jesus tells us clearly, “The kingdom of God is among us.” But many still do not have faith to behold Jesus in our midst. 

 

Invite Jesus to be the Lord and healer in your personal life. Trust Him to help you completely. Believe that He is fully able and willing to solve any problem or relieve any burden when you bring it to Him in prayer. There is no trouble he does not want to help you with, and there is no bondage from which He can not set you free. 

God’s healing power restores us to health and active service and care of others. Ask Jesus to set you free so you can serve Him joyfully and generously through love and service to others.
