OLA Religious Education Registration Form 2017-2018
Elementary and Mid-School Religious Education (Grades 1 thru 8): Instruction is offered on Tuesday evenings from 6:20 PM to 7:35 PM from September through May. Students will experience various activities and events including instruction, prayer, community building and service opportunities. All Elementary instruction takes place in the OLA School buildings.
First Communion Sacramental Preparation: Instruction is offered on Tuesday evening from 6:20 PM to 7:35 PM from September through May. All Elementary instruction takes place in the OLA School buildings.
Religious Education Calendar (2017-2018)
Youth (Junior High School and up): Preparation to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation is offered in the context of our Total Youth Ministry Program which incorporates the 8 components of ministry as outlined by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops in their document,“Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry.” Offered primarily on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:15 PM, this instruction builds on prior empathetic instruction as well as the candidates lived experience or faith.
